Despite the rise in the number of OTT streaming services and the adoption of said services by consumers, streaming is not without its challenges. Streaming providers and technology enablers are persistently addressing challenges related to the lack of standards and the impact on latency, video quality and monetization. These topics are always top of mind, but perhaps even more so at the moment given current demand for as much content as we can consume.
