Join us on 7th December 2021 at 10am Central Time (US and Canada) for a roundtable on RIST multi-link technology.
The RIST protocol is an open Industry Specification for low-latency, reliable video transport over the Internet. One of the most important features of RIST is support for Multi-Link operation. In Multi-Link, there are multiple connections between the sender and the receiver, typically over different ISPs or channels.
This feature is useful in two scenarios:
Bonding: the capacity of the various connections is combined to provide additional bandwidth
Seamless Switching: multiple copies of the content are sent simultaneously, for reliability purposes
This roundtable will examine the multi-link technology built into RIST (and available in the open-source libRIST), with actual field deployment examples.
