RIST Members to Showcase Live at VidTrans 2023
14th February 2023 – The Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) Forum has announced that several of its members will be presenting and exhibiting at VidTrans23. The RIST Forum will also hold its Annual General Meeting during the event.
The annual technical conference and exposition from the Video Services Forum (VSF), brings together end users, service providers, equipment manufacturers, and others involved with the world of television and video. This year's conference will focus on the innovative types of networking and video technologies and their application to video transport.

RIST Enhances IPMX in Network's Production and Monitoring Streams
Sergio Ammirata, Chief Scientist at SipRadius LLC, will highlight the on-demand aspect of RIST. The talk will complement a demo at the VSF booth.
RIST Source Adaptation
Dr. Ciro Noronha, CTO at Cobalt Digital and RIST Forum President, will present an overview of TR-06-4 Part 1, followed by some initial test data over actual Internet links.
Advance techniques for monitoring Live video delivery - why Video delivery intelligence is important?
Adi Rozenberg, Founder of AlvaLinks, will address questions around IP networks, looking at protocols such as RIST, SRT, NDI, JpegXs and ST2110.
Additionally, some vendors will be offering demonstrations of different aspects of RIST. Cobalt Digital will demonstrate a full implementation of Encoder Source Adaptation using TR-06-4 Part 1, Simple Profile Link Quality messages, and TR-06-2 Null Packet Deletion. Evertz will demonstrate GCCG workflows utilizing RIST. Net Insight will demonstrate Nimbra Edge, a RIST-powered cloud video switching and routing infrastructure system. SipRadius LLC will demonstrate the functionality of a bandwidth and administrative security conscious RIST Relay, for WAN or LAN based applications with integrated WebRTC Playout. Zixi will transmit RIST main profile, from cloud to other company’s receiver on the show floor.
The RIST Forum’s AGM will be held on Tuesday 28th February at 12:30pm local time, during the VidTrans23’ lunch break. The annual meeting will give members an opportunity to review the past year, as well as discussing upcoming plans and voting on Co-Chairs and Directors.
