Cobalt Digital Continues to Drive Forward with RIST Supported Products
As one of the founding members of the RIST Forum, Cobalt Digital has announced that it will be attending NAB 2025, continuing to drive forward with RIST supported products.
The RIST Forum has always played an integral role in Cobalt Digital products and workflows, being supported in all Cobalt encoders including 9223, 9990-ENC-H264-IP, PACIFIC 9992-ENC and decoders including 9990-DEC-MPEG, PACIFIC 9992-DEC and PACIFIC ULL-DEC. RIST protocol is also supported in the Cobalt SafeLink Gateway, playing a key role in supporting legacy devices for reliable and scalable content workflows. Cobalt products support further RIST features, such as Source Adaptation, which allows the stream bit rate to be controlled as a function of the network availability. Cobalt also utilises NULL Packet Deletion and Receiver Synchronization.
Cobalt will be proudly demonstrating RIST supported products at NAB 2025 – come and visit the team on booth SL5123 to discuss all things RIST.
Evertz Announces Demonstrations for SCORPION, 7890IXG, XPS and Evertz Reflektor
Long standing RIST member, Evertz, has announced that it will be demonstrating RIST-supported products at NAB 2025, booth N915. Continuing to drive innovation forward with RIST supported workflows, Evertz will be showcasing its latest developments for Evertz SCORPION, 7890IXG and XPS.
Evertz SCORPION flexible media edge utilises uncompressed and compressed codec support, enabling moving media to occur over any IP network format. Regardless of whether the network is high bandwidth or dedicated to low bandwidth and lossy, SCORPION provides the toolset to transform your workflow. Evertz SCORPION utilises compression codecs and protection methods such as hitless merge, forward error correction or packet retransmissions to mitigate network issues and impairments.
Alongside SCORPION, Evertz will be demonstrating its 7890IXG, which provides an ideal option for delivering high-quality contribution video over unmanaged IP networks by using ARQ (Automatic Retransmit Query) or RIST technologies. Evertz will also be demonstrating its real-time high quality and low latency video encoder and decoder module, XPS Live Video Encoder Series, for live streaming and cloud-based production. Alongside this, Evertz Reflektor will be showcased, a software-accelerated media transcoding and distribution platform that offers comprehensive processing and transcoding directly in and from the cloud.
You can meet the Evertz team at NAB 2025 to discuss RIST supported products at booth N915.
