Creating Interoperable Hybrid Workflows with RIST

We recently held a webinar with members of the RIST forum to discuss how RIST can be used across a number of hybrid workflows, whether terrestrial on-prem distribution or in the cloud, providing a solution for low-latency live video delivery over managed and unmanaged networks. 

The session focuses on representative real-life use cases derived from actual deployments, with discussion from Ciro Noronha of Cobalt and RIST Forum, David Griggs of AWS and Tim Baldwin of Zixi. Listen as they talk about why RIST is a valuable protocol and discuss why it is so important to customers, referring to its versatile technology that supports internet-based, applications, cloud infrastructure, and contribution and distribution workflows.  

We highlight the benefits of RIST to enable both terrestrial and cloud distribution providing agility and range to streaming infrastructures, while also discussing how the standards-based protocol adds value to more prevalent hybrid workflow structures where interoperable streaming solutions are key to a enabling a multi-vendor supply chain.  

The webinar ends with a Q & A session, where viewers had the chance to put their questions to the experts.
