1. Pre Conference Tutorial
This course will explore all of the key features and functions of RIST, covering both the Simple profile (which has been available since late 2018) and the Main profile, which is scheduled for release in late 2019. Key topics to be covered include:
Overview of Simple and Main RIST profiles and compatibility
Multi-stream multiplexing/tunneling using GRE
DTLS encryption and certificate management
Pre-Shared Key encryption
Null packet deletion
If time permits, a live RIST video link will be configured and connected via hotel WiFi or 4G LTE.

2. Industry interoperability demonstration of the RIST protocol
RIST (Reliable Internet Stream Transport) technology will be demonstrated through the use of real-time, contribution-quality video streams exchanged securely, with top-of-the-line encryption, over the public Internet between Marina del Rey and a number of remote locations around the world. The emphasis will be on multi-vendor interoperability using the upcoming VSF TR-06-02 RIST Main Profile, with close to a dozen technology providers participating in the live demos, which will be conducted on-site and via the public Internet.
