RIST-enabled Products Continue to Expand

Los Angeles, 25th January 2022 – The Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) Forum has announced that the number of video products with RIST support is continuing to expand, enabling video providers to deploy RIST throughout their live video workflows. This includes product provided by a number of leading technology providers, including AtemeCerberusCobaltDrastic TechDTVIEvertzOpen Broadcaster SoftwareOpen Broadcast SystemsQVidiumSencore, VideoflowVitec, and Zixi.
 
Developed jointly by a group of experts using a standards-based approach, RIST provides an open, interoperable and technically robust solution for low-latency live video over unmanaged networks. It has been designed to enable multi-vendor interoperability, while ensuring vendors remain free to innovate within their own implementations. 
 
RIST is available in commercial products throughout the media distribution lifecycle, enabling live video to be encoded, processed, and distributed over IP.
